MERBAU
Merbau is a tropical hardwood known for its strength and durability. It is a good choice for various applications, including decking, flooring, furniture, and joinery.
Merbau has a rich, reddish-brown colour that can be enhanced with a clear finish. It has a straight grain and a smooth texture.
Merbau can last for many years with proper care. It is resistant to rot, decay, and insects due to the high levels of tannins in the wood, which act as a natural preservative. It is also resistant to warping and splitting, making it an excellent choice for outdoor applications.
Our imported Merbau is a sustainable wood harvested from managed forests in Indonesia.

QUEENSLAND CYPRESS PINE
Queensland Cypress Pine is durable native Australian softwood resistant to rot and decay. It is one of the hardest softwoods, making it suitable for applications often reserved for hardwood species.
It ranges from pale tan to darker brown, with darker reddish-brown streaks. The wood has a straight grain and a fine texture, with commonly present small, tight knots.
This versatile wood can be used for various applications, including construction, decking, fencing, cladding, landscaping, flooring, joinery and furniture. It is very lightweight when dry, making it easy to work with.
Our products are structurally graded to F7 where applicable.
Our Cypress Pine is sourced from Queensland forests managed by the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.

- framing/beams F7 – 75 x 50 – 200 x 50 readily available

STRUCTURAL PINE
We stock locally sourced plantation-grown Radiata Pine and imported Baltic Pine (Redwood and Whitewood) from Scandinavia and Baltic countries.
Our structural pine is a durable and versatile softwood with the strength to be used in various construction applications, including general framing and roof trusses.
Our Structural Pine products are graded to Australian Standards.

- Structural H2 treated 70 x 35 -240 x 45

TREATED PINE
Treated pine is a durable and long-lasting wood that is perfect for a variety of outdoor applications.
This wood is chemically treated to protect against rot and insect attack. Our products are treated with either CCA (H4 Applications) or LOSP (H3 Applications) Treated pine can be stained or painted if required.
Because it is so durable, it is an excellent choice for decking, fencing, cladding, posts, landscaping and other outdoor structures exposed to the elements.
We source our treated pine products from Australian and New Zealand plantation Radiata Pine and from Scandinavia and Baltic countries

DOORS
At Excel Pacific Australia, we import and supply a range of quality engineered doors from leading Indonesian manufacturer Woodone Integra. Woodone Integra is a joint venture between leading Japanese timber manufacturer Woodone and Indonesian forestry and manufacturing company Integra Group.
The product line includes a range of external Meranti Joinery Doors and Primed internal doors in various sizes and styles. We can also supply corresponding products such as door jambs and skirting.
Woodone Integra has a reputation for manufacturing high-quality, sustainable timber architectural products.
MOULDINGS
We supply timber and MDF pre-primed mouldings and architraves for internal decorative trim.
Pre-primed mouldings are more moisture-resistant and less likely to warp, buckle, or split than untreated wood. These products have a smooth, even finish that is ready to paint, saving time and money on preparation and providing a consistent, professional finish.
Our excelPRIME finger-jointed timber mouldings are manufactured from sustainable plantation-grown New Zealand pine. Pre-primed timber mouldings are an attractive and durable choice for internal decorative trims.
Made in Australia from high-quality, sustainable radiata pine, UltraPRIME MDF mouldings are highly moisture resistant and ultra-low emission. MDF mouldings are a convenient and cost-effective option.
exceLVL
Excel Pacific Australia imports and distributes a range of laminated veneer lumber. LVL is an engineered wood product made from thin sheets of wood veneer glued together under high pressure, making it more dimensionally stable than traditional timber.
LVL is a good choice for load-bearing applications as it is less likely to warp, shrink, or swell. It is a sustainable, strong, cost-effective choice. All our LVL is supplied as H2 Treated for peace of mind.
We source LVL from leading manufacturers in Asia and Europe and are pleased to offer exceLVL e13 and e14 and Kerto LVL e13.2 from leading Finnish manufacturer Metsa Oy.
